Iliani Styliani Anapali is an MEng Transport holder from the Rural and Surveying Engineering department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In 2021, she obtained the interdepartmental MSc Transport, from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Imperial College London and University College London (UCL), specializing in Transport Modelling & Analysis.

Iliani is a Transport professional with work experience in Transport Planning ang Modelling. From 2021 to 2022 she worked at the STANTEC Consulting Engineering company in the company's offices in Reading and London, as a Consulting Engineer in the Transport Planning and Transport Modelling team. She has prepared gravity models, Transport notes, Travel Plans, Travel Pack and Transport Assessments; she worked in the analysis, control and processing of traffic data, and developed transport models for both public and private sector clients in the UK. She has specialized knowledge in the calibration and validation of strategic and microscale simulation models, and is an experienced user of Linsig, PTV-VISUM and PTV-VISSIM, and has a very good knowledge of SPSS and R statistical software. From 2021 to 2022 she worked in the London public sector, at the WestTrans Partnership as a Travel Plan Officer, managing the Development Control Travel Plans project, carrying out structure Transport Plan audits and approved plans on behalf of 5 London Boroughs.

From 2023 she works as a Research Associate of the Hellenic Institute of Transport (HIT) of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH). Her research interests include transport modelling, traffic flow optimization and sustainable traffic management.
