Mr. Georgios Tzanis was born in Thessaloniki in 2000 and holds a bachelor’s degree in international and European Studies of the University of Macedonia. In the past, he has worked as a Research Associate at the Hellenic Institute of Transport of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (HIT-CERTH) and as a EU Careers Ambassador of the European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO) of the European Union.

His main professional interests are European policy development, European convergence and cohesion through research programs and policies, diplomacy and public administration. His passion is to contribute to research projects that mark the evolution of the European Union and the development of the countries of the wider European region.

Academically, he is in the process of obtaining a master’s degree in international studies. His specialization in both undergraduate and postgraduate studies is Political Science, European Studies and Diplomacy.

In addition, he speaks English fluently, French advanced and Korean basic.
