Alkiviadis Tromaras was born in Thessaloniki in 1981. He has graduated from University of the West of England (UWE, Bristol) with a BEng in Aerospace Manufacturing Engineering. He continued his postgraduate studies at Coventry University studying the MSc of Competitive Manufacturing. In 2007 he completed his PhD in Manufacturing & Mechanical Engineering at Coventry University regarding stakeholder management and related environmental management issues of the UK’s Aerospace Manufacturing industry. Later on he worked in the Environmental Management and ISO14001 sector in the UK industry (Cummins UK) as well as research projects regarding environmental stakeholder management and environmental issues of sea ports or electric cars and charging infrastructure. He specialises in manufacturing and production, stakeholder management for environmental issues, Environmental Management Systems and ISO 14001, charging infrastructure related to electric cars. He is an author of one book (Α Stakeholder Framework for Environmental Management) and contributor in another (The global business handbook).
