Charis Kourousia, works as Research Associate at the Hellenic Institute of Transport (HIT) of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH). She is a Mechanical Engineer (BSc) and she holds a master degree in Environmental Technology (MSc). She participates and manages European and National Research Programmes in the field Sector C: Non-land Transport, Environmental and Economic Issues. The activities of Sector C include research in the economic, energy and environmental aspects of the transport sector, transport infrastructure and asset management, as well as the design, planning, management and operations of the maritime and air transport systems.
