Τhe Mayor of Thessaloniki met with the French company Fifteen, one of the largest micro-mobility companies in Europe that has built and operates more than 50,000 bicycles in some of the most famous public bicycle systems, such as Velib in Paris, Marseille, Helsinki, Moscow, etc.
During the meeting, the best practices for design, development and operation of shared bicycle systems in European cities were discussed, as well as the initiatives of the Municipality of Thessaloniki, which participates in the European Mission for 100 "Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities" (Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities), aiming at actions and projects for the transition of Thessaloniki towards climate neutrality by 2030.
The meeting was attended by the Mayor of Thessaloniki Konstantinos Zervas, the Mayor's Special Advisor Mr. Georgios Kalaitsidis, Fifteen's Commercial Development Director, Mr. Jean Michel Boez, the Deputy Director of the Hellenic Institute of Transport Dr. Georgia Ayfantopoulou and the CEO of BrainBox & Fifteen's partner in Greece, Mr. George Voulgaroudis.
