HIT HOSTS IMPORTANT EUROPEAN MEETINGS
HIT / CERTH (the Hellenic Institute of Transport/ Centre for Research & Technology Hellas), the main Greek research organization in the field of Transport and the most important and most recognized pan-European based in Thessaloniki, hosts
- The Annual Forum and the Annual Meeting of the European technology platform EPOSS (European technology platform on smart systems integration) - on 16th and 17th of October 2018 (smart-systems-integration.org ) and
- MNBS Annual Conference 2018 (Micro-Nano Bio-Systems) under the auspices of the European Commission, Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology (DG CNECT) on 17th and 18th of October 2018
The events will take place at the Conference Center of CERTH in Thermi, Thessaloniki in the presence of major representatives of European Research, European Industry, European Commission and local stakeholders. The presence of prominent persons, famous researchers from all over Europe, as well as the specialized topics on new, advanced technologies and smart systems, make the events unique for the Greek scientific community as well as for the city of Thessaloniki.
By hosting these important events, HIT strengthens its role as a major and coherent center of research on Transport, Sustainable Mobility and Tourism across Europe and showcases its position as one of the best centers of technology and know-how in Europe. At the same time, it demonstrates the pioneer research carried out in Greece and particularly in Thessaloniki in the above mentioned fields, as well as the integration of "Smart Technologies".
