Dr. Ioannis D. Benekos of HIT/CERTH was the chair of the A3 Technical Risk Management Committee of The World Road Association–PIARC that was hosted in Athens by the Ministry of Infrastructure, Transport and Networks on May 6-8 2019.

In the work cycle 2016-2019, the Technical Committee A3 deals with the following two main themes:

1) Management of risks related to strategic objectives and the mission of Road Networks.

2) The management of risks related to road network projects / infrastructures during their life cycle.
