HI-TECH EKO MOBILITY RALLY 2019

HIT PARTICIPATES IN THE ELECTRIC RACE

Once again for another year, HIT/CERTH has participated in the 12th HI-TECH EKO Mobility Rally for Electric Vehicles, organized by ELINHO on the weekend of May 4-5, 2019, starting from Kotzia Square. The International Precision Competition of FIA for Electric Cars, called "Hi-Tech EKO Mobility Rally 2019" was a Regularity type Opening Race of the World Cup, and its organization in Greece is an honorable distinction for our country.

Despite the low implementation of electrification of vehicles in Greece, the total participation of 13 cars is considered to be more than satisfactory, and the advanced technology of the participating vehicles involved was particularly high, while there was no lack of world class vehicles. HIT / CERTH, represented by its 2 teams racing on BMW i3s had an exceptional participation. The pilots of HIT were Messrs. John Alertas and Aristotelis Spiliotis, whose positions in the final classification were satisfactory, both in terms of finishing position and the low consumption during the race. 

It is noted that HIT/ CERTH is the main research organization in the field of Transport in Greece and among the most important and most recognized pan-European technology node and reports directly to the General Secretariat for Research and Technology of the Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs.
