Glykeria Myrovali and George Tsaples from HIT/CERTH have been awarded the EURO Working Group on Decision Support Systems EWG-DSS 2018 Young Researchers of the Year award with the paper “An Interactive Learning Environment Based on System Dynamics Methodology for Sustainable Mobility Challenges Communication & Citizens’ Engagement”, presented during the EWG-DSS 2018 International Conference on Decision Support System Technology in Crete May, 2018. The idea for the paper derived from MOTIVATE project, “Promoting citizens’ active involvement in the development of Sustainable Travel Plans in Med Cities with Seasonal Demand” - MED Programme 2014-2020, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund. Co-authors in this effort are Dr. Georgia Aifandopoulou and Dr. Maria Morfoulaki from HIT/CERTH and Prof. Jason Papathanasiou from University of Macedonia.
