HIT/CERTH actively participated in this year’s 99^th TRB Annual meeting, on 12-16 January 2020, in Washington DC. ΗΙΤ/CERTH was represented by the Director of the Institute, Dr. Evangelos Bekiaris, who chaired the A0010(1): Engage non-US Colleagues Sub-Committee meeting and Partners in TRB, the Director of Research Dr. Maria Boile, as vice-chair of the AT020: International Trade and Transportation Committee and presenting two papers on ports and maritime transport topics, Dr. Evangelos Mitsakis who presented two papers on ITS and logistics topics, Dr. Josep Maria Salanova Grau who presented three papers on vehicle sharing, ITS and freight transportation topics, Ms Evangelia Gaitanidou who presented Drive2theFuture project in the ΑΒC20: Management & Productivity Committee meeting and Mr. Eleftherios Sdoukopoulos who was awarded with a Certificate of Appreciation from the AW030: Marine Environment Committee chair for his contribution as a Communications Coordinator in 2019.
