The pilot of the free transportation service (FLEX BUS), which started on 21.03.2022 in the framework of the European project MultiDEPART, coordinated by CERTH/HIT, continues successfully by TheTΑ S.A. The area where the pilot service is provided includes the suburbs of Neo Rysio - Tagarades - Ag. Paraskevi - Souroti - Vasilika and Ag. Antonio.
More than 60 users have already signed in to the Nemi application and many trips have been successfully carried out. Users of the service are able to use the free application "Nemi" (Android, iOS) to plan their trip up to 48 hours before the desired departure time by choosing the origin-destination points from the existing ones in the area.
Citizens can be served alternatively by calling at 23160 20774 (Mon-Fr, 08: 00-16: 00) and booking their seats by phone. The service operates daily (Mon-Fr) from 10:00 to 18:00, with an estimated duration of one month since its starting day. The starting and the terminal points of the route are next to the IKEA Terminal station and users can easily identify the spot by a banner flag.
Passengers are required to comply with the current COVID-19 (use of high protection mask) measures that are applied to public transport.
