Project Title: E+ Mobility Accelerator
Duration: 24 months (01/01/2022 – 31/12/2024)
Description & Objectives:
The E+ Mobility Accelerator proposal is a continuation of the EIT Urban Mobility Hub South Acceleration Program (batches #1-3), with a specific focus into the mobility & energy, micromobility and shared mobility thematic fields. Its main objective is to accelerate the introduction of start-ups-led solutions in the market while helping cities and companies solve their challenges faster and efficiently.
Therefore, the new consortium plans to become the seed generator of top European start-ups within these fields by attracting and selecting proposals that best fit the program, supporting projects with business and technical orientation, providing access to key players for market and technical validation and connecting and preparing them to build pilots with relevant stakeholders. The project is funded by EIT Urban Mobility.
HIT key role and responsibilities: CERTH/HIT will lead the Living Labs work package and will coordinate and monitor the connection between LLs (both in and out of consortium) and startups aiming to potential collaboration in terms of infrastructure and geographical area. Having extended experience on the creation of B2B, B2H, H2B and H2H partnerships that match the transport needs and services providers, CERTH/HIT will organize workshops between LLs and start-ups to matchmake the needs/interests of start-ups with the services provided by the LLs. Moreover, CERTH/HIT will contribute in the Monitoring and Tutoring work package providing to start-ups technical mentoring on mobility aspects.
